A team of four Creative Media students from 海角社区 are in the prestigious WorldSkills UK National Finals, which will take place across venues in South Wales from 25-28 November.
Students Matthildi, Joe, Rhamia and Chloe, will be competing in the Digital Media Production category of the competition, having progressed through college tests and regional competitions.
Julie Kapsalis, Principal and CEO at 海角社区 said, 鈥淗uge congratulations to our Creative Media students who will be representing 海角社区 at the WorldSkills UK National Finals. Thanks to their tutors, Jess and Abi, and the whole team who have supported our students every step of the way. We can鈥檛 wait for the finals, good luck!鈥�
Julie added, 鈥淲e are proud to be a WorldSkills Centre of Excellence and of all of our students who took part in the competition鈥檚 regional heats this year.鈥�
Students at 海角社区 have had continued success in the WorldSkills UK National Finals, with one of our Professional Cookery students winning Silver in 2024 in Culinary Arts, and our Creative Media students winning Gold in 2023 and Bronze in 2022 in Digital Media Production.
