Thanks to the teaching team and everyone who played an integral role in this amazing exhibition.鈥

I have chosen two pieces for Best In Show, well-done to George for an incredible fashion illustration piece that struck me as edgy, original and looking to the future, and to Dayana for a wonderful piece depicting equity and inclusion鈥

Best In Show joint winner: George Pickard, Level 3 UAL Foundation Diploma student, on his winning fashion illustration piece, 鈥楢 Future we were Promised鈥, commented, 鈥淚 wanted to focus on the fashion and robotics of the space era, making sure I had truly envisioned the retro futurism theme into my project, implementing the sense of nostalgia and also to give a vision of what the future could have been or could be in the following years.鈥

Best In Show joint winner: Dayana Romero, Level 4 UAL Foundation Diploma student, describing her winning piece, 鈥楧e aqui, de all谩 y m谩s 2025鈥, said, 鈥淢y project explores my cultural heritage carrying the Spanish and Ecuadorian culture, it explores the feeling I've grown up with 'ni de aqui', ni de alla' (not from here, and not from there) taking a positive approach with the many opportunities and challenges I have grown up with as well as celebrating the lives of my family as immigrants.鈥

The Art and Digital Design end of year exhibition is a showcase of final projects in students鈥 areas of specialisation.
